💡 Learning to speak fluent French also means learning what NOT to say!

Every language has certain words that, when said, instantly reveal that you’re not a native speaker. There’s nothing wrong with that, of course! But if you want to feel more confident with your spoken French and keep your French conversations from switching back to English, then it’s important to refine your spoken French vocabulary.

In this video, I’ll highlight some words and phrases to avoid in French, and I’ll explain the why behind it, so that it sticks. (Don’t worry — I’ll also share what you can say instead!)

At Comme une Française, we specialize in everyday spoken French. We focus on three unique aspects that are different from school French, self-study books, Duolingo, etc:
1. We focus only on the specifics of speaking/understanding/being understood in everyday French and have unique ways to help you learn it properly & faster.
2. We focus on shortcuts to help you make progress faster, which also means we tell you exactly what you can stop learning to prioritize what’s really important.
3. We use French culture as the subject to make it fun and interesting for adults.

Take care and stay safe.
