Anyone who has been a photographer for long has been there – the perfect light in a landscape, the most unique action in a wildlife encounter, or the biggest moment on someone’s biggest day strikes, and you miss the shot. It happens to the best of us. So… what should you do when you miss the shot?
The WORST thing to do is think about how you just missed the shot. Instead, focus on how you can ensure you capture the next perfect moment. Be agile and ready to move so you’re in the perfect position if another great moment happens. Look for other opportunities and different compositions. Stay ready, and you will be rewarded.
After all, the missed shots just make the shots you make feel even more special…
