This part of the UK is often ignored by travellers but it has so much to offer! I've had the opportunity to experience life in the UK, living with English people and I want to let people know about what treasures can be found outside of England's tourist hotspots.
If you've been following my channel, you'll know that I'm a Mexican, married to an English man. This year, I had the opportunity to spend a long time in the UK and really understand the culture and to learn about my husband's home, the West Midlands.
When people visit the UK, they always want to go to London. Maybe they visit Oxford, Cambridge or even go as far north as Stratford. The West Midlands and the Black Country are almost totally unknown to tourists but they have so much to offer. In this video, I want to share with you what I have learned about the England that the tourists don't see but which offers a much more authentic look into what life in England is really like.
I want to show you the little town of Kinver, the Midland's gorgeous canals, the majestic castle in Ludlow, the ancient city of Shrewsbury and Worcester. These are all places that I had never even heard about before visiting the UK but which I'm so glad to have known.
