Coronavirus is back in Vietnam and Da Nang is back in quarantine. Last week, I released a video praising Vietnam for its reaction to the covid crisis. It's one of the few countries which was able to return to life as normal. Just as I released the video, news came through about a new community infection in Da Nang, right where I live.
A lot of people commented on my last video asking me what it's like to live in Vietnam at this time and what the lockdown restrictions are. I was so touched by all of the worried messages that I wanted to make this quick video to let you all know about how Vietnam is fighting the virus and why I feel so safe in Vietnam.
It seems like all over the world, the second wave of coronavirus is hitting everyone hard. In Vietnam, people are pulling together, staying at home, and wearing masks to save themselves and others in their country.
I hope that Da Nang is open soon and that I can continue making videos about what it's like living in Vietnam. For the moment though, I hope everyone is safe out there.
