You are in charge of how you want them to see you!
And I totally messed that up.
I never wanted to be branded as the musical theatre girl when I auditioned for The Voice of Switzerland many years ago…
But of course that’s what happened after singing two songs from musicals 🤦♀️
I didn’t even consider that… I just sang those two songs cause I loved singing them and I thought that they show off my skills pretty well.
So if you don’t want to musical theatre songs for the rest of the season, maybe don’t audition with a musical theatre song… or any other type of song of course!
These judges and directors aren’t that creative… you need to show them how you want to be seen.
That mistake cost me making it to the blind auditions and I got kicked out in round three (the last round before all the stuff you see on TV).
