After recently warning citizens to shelter in place during a radiological event, New York City is now advising citizens that they may need to simply up and leave the city at a moment's notice. People are being advised by New York officials that they need to have a grab-and-go bag (aka Bug Out bag) ready to grab at any moment to help them to survive should they be advised to get the h*ll out of the city asap. In this video, I go through everything that I carry in my EDC bag (or "every day carry" bag). This is essentially my bug-out bag, but I am sure to carry it with me whenever I leave home so that it can help me to return back to my home (retreat location) in the case of an emergency. I've been adding to and subtracting from my bug-out bag for about 20 years. At this point, it's a pretty solid platform that has been time-tested.
