I am excited to collaborate with Dr. Peter Jones of Electromagnetic Videos in this 2 part video series on what parts fail and why. In this video I discuss some failures of devices that I have seen and the components that actually failed in them. Then Dr. Jones will discuss why manufacturers don't make things that last longer so be sure to check out his video also. We also cover when most items fail and if in fact that extended warranty is even worth it. It is so neat to be able to have great discussions and collaborate with the brilliant Dr. Jones. I live in Georgia (US) and Dr. Jones lives in Canada so this may be as close as we get to meeting in person, but this project was a lot of fun to work on and help put together.
