During the testimony of defense psychologist Dr. Paul Zeizel, he discussed meeting Lindsay Clancy in the hospital after she killed her three children and attempted to take her own life. Zeizel testified that Lindsay wanted to call her husband, Patrick, to tell him how much she loved him and to “see where they were at” in their relationship. He also recalled Lindsay reporting that she heard a male voice ordering her to kill her children and then herself, and that she believed others could hear her thoughts. Zeizel said they called Patrick twice.
