And it seems that they are very fortunate. They can go to Mexico for breakfast and return home by car at lunchtime to swim in the Pacific Ocean.
This city is San Diego. And yes, it may look like a resort from a postcard. But if you look beneath the surface, its idyllic image cracks. Where there should be only beaches and surfers, there are hidden tunnels, bunkers, and even cemeteries under the roads.
