This event explored what being a student mathematician entails how to take it further into a career; bridging the gap between current education and future opportunities.
This talk was given by Stella Robinson. Stella is an Undergraduate at The University of Manchester studying Mathematics with an Industrial year, currently on her sandwich year working as a Mathematical Modeller. Over the past 6 months of her year in industry she has developed skills in Coding, Fluid Mechanics and Numerical Methods. Stella is proud to be a woman in STEM and is a STEM Ambassador. Outside of mathematics, Stella enjoys walking, cooking and playing netball with her maths society.
