So I tried to game on the M1 Max just to see what'd happen and as expected it wasn't great. I also took the opportunity to try and shoot an entire video only using the M1 Max's internal webcam and mic. The results are a lot better than previous MacBooks which is to say, they're flatly ok, good enough in a pinch.
This is a funky video since its the first video I've made where things just didn't work for me and I'd already done fair amount of recording/capturing/installing. I really wanted to benchmark Parallels vs Crossover vs Native but there aren't many games that give me an opportunity to do this. Maybe I'll be able to revisit this as both Windows ARM and Parallels matures.
Notably, before I did video capture, I tested many of the games first as recording the screen via QuickTime does incur a small speed hit. Also, I wanted to include XEMU but it requires a bit more work to play Xbox games and its not as mature as the Dolphin emulator for GameCube.

Beer consumed:
Oakshire Fifteen Anniversary beer
Not my favorite, a bit too syrupy and a bit too sweet for me. It's a cuvee barrel aged and comes off with a lot of brown sugar, and a bit of the whiskey barrel background.
