Here's a quick and to the point workaround for the M1 Max and Pro memory leak issue with the Window server. I haven't experience the extreme WindowServer RAM leakage many have but this stupid fix puts a bandaid on a problem with ProMotion's memory leak. Spoiler: You disable it and wait for Apple to fix it.

Some users have mentioned this might have been fixed in Monterey 12.1, I've re-enabled ProMotion but thus far things look questionable.
