There's no easy pill to make the truth of Indigenous history pain-free.
🧡 Having a diverse organization doesn't make it easy
🧡 Allocating a higher budget will not fix feelings of tokenism
🧡 Cultural training and certificates do not trump genuine relationships

If the past 15 years have taught me anything, working in reconciliation before it was a "field", it's that you don't have to have it all figured it out, you just need to care enough to keep going.
