HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! For my (I guess) annual upload of the holiday this year, I decided to try a little experiment that I've been kicking around for a few months now. And what with the new "Wicked" movie in theaters now, I figured what better time than now? I watched a production of the Broadway show this past Sunday, and I loved it so much that I went and bought tickets to see the movie at my local theater right after. Needless to say, I LOVED IT!!! :D
It was one of the best movie-musical adaptations I've ever seen, so I recorded this new "self-duet" cover where I sing for both Galinda and Elphaba (and a little bit of the ensemble backing vocals to give it a little bit more meat lol). I've done a couple of self-duets for other people, mostly MOTI, but never on my own channel, so this was a really fun and interesting cover to do, and I'd love to do more like it in the future. Well, this cover was a last-minute decision on my part, but it was so worth it! Ive been wanting to cover this song... pretty much ever since it came out, and Ive actually never really seen anyone do anything with it (surprisingly), so I wanted to finally add my own spin on it.
