What's Inside the 2026 Hanson Box?
The Don Hanson Charitable Foundation has donated free Hanson Boxes packed with educational resources to 5,000 schools across the United Kingdom.
At the heart of this year's Hanson Box are four beautifully illustrated, full-colour books, each designed to inspire curiosity and passion for learning.
These specially-designed books are:
Nature's Tricks explores how animals and plants use camouflage, mimicry, colour and deception to survive.
Amazing Ecosystems takes readers on a journey through rainforests, coral reefs, deserts, savannas, caves, rivers, lakes and the deep sea.
Our Marine World explores the diversity of Earth’s oceans, from coral reefs and seagrass meadows to kelp forests, polar waters and hydrothermal vents.
Amazing Archaeology reveals how artefacts, architecture and ancient evidence help us uncover the mysteries of past people and civilisations.
Alongside the books, the box also includes a cover letter, a creative writing competition flyer and information about the children’s parliament project.
