Not everyone is aware of the existence of biofilms, a kind of super-colony of bacteria, even though we probably interact with them every day of our lives. That moss floating in that pond? A biofilm. One of the real reasons to brush your teeth? Biofilms. In this video, Lucas Anger explains what a biofilm is, and why it's a public health issue being studied by many scientists.
