I used to think variety was everything, and as recipe developer I was always chasing the next new dish. This led to more food waste in my kitchen than I care to admit.

Nowadays, like most things in my life, I’m leaning towards a simpler way and tend to buy the exact same veggies and proteins every week because: we love them, they’re healthy, they last well in the fridge and I can turn them into so many different meals.

This has saved me money and food waste guilt too.

So, if you’re looking to simplify your life too, putting the easiest meals on repeat is absolutely OK.

Aiming for simple, natural unprocessed foods feels like a much better goal these days 🧅🧄🫑

Do you find yourself cooking the same things on repeat too?
