The Wolfman is one of the most iconic universal monsters, but the original script was quite different. The original story was going to leave the audience questioning Lawrence Talbot's sanity, foregoing the wolf man transformation entirely. This would drastically alter the classic horror film. Luckily for us, the studio saw more money in showing the monster.
