Today is the 10th anniversary of when Crash Bandicoot was officially announced to make a guest appearance in Skylanders Imaginators, thanks to this trailer: youtube.com/watch?v=l0UA8ql11_M
It was his first appearance in a console game since 2008 with Crash Mind Over Mutant. Before, he only appeared in a few mobile games which would later be discontinued. At the time, along with his return to console gaming, it was also announced that he would have a brand new game the following year, which of course was the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, which is a remake of the first three Crash games.
Of course in Skylanders, he appears as a Life Skylander and as a Sensei of the Brawler battle class. Now, here's a little thing in my head, what if Crash was a core Skylander, like Spyro was, back all the way in 2011 in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure? Would it be completely new moves or just his regular moves like from Imaginators minus Sky-Chi. Would Crash have gotten some some additional variations like a Legendary and/or Dark counterpart? Would he have gained some Wow Pows if he was ever given a Series 2 figure? Would he have also been given a Mini Skylander in Trap Team? Would he have been promoted to be a SuperCharger and gain a vehicle of his own? Would he become an NPC in Imaginators, guiding the Senseis, the Imaginators (and of course in a confusing way, any past Skylanders, including himself) throughout the story? Heck, would Spyro (in his Classic looks) have guest appeared in Imaginators as a Sensei?
Speaking of Classic Spyro, I am aware he's gotten a brand new game coming soon and of course, made by Toys for Bob, the creators of Skylanders. I should have responded to it sooner, but a buttload of commissions had me occupied.
We had Spyro guest appear in a lot of Crash games recently like Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled, It's About Time and Crash Team Rumble. Should Crash be the one to guest appear in a Spyro game, just like he did in The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night, and the already forementioned Skylanders Imaginators? Heck, should any of the Skylanders guest appear in Spyro: A Realm Beyond, like one of the traps?
