This video contains a Jumpscare that might frighten little children. Otherwise it is fine for children that aren't 13 years old yet but that does not mean the video was aimed at them.

The title and thumbnail are references to Sirloin's many WHW_UMPU videos for no other reason than because I thought it'd be funny.

Yes this is the model from Super Mario Odyssey. Although way higher poly than NSMBW Mario....it's not THAT high poly for NSMBW. After duplicating the mouth & eyebrows to have expressions, he's only about 2 NSMBW Bowsers which the game can have 5 Bowsers on screen without slowing down.
No the problem is the file size of the Mario.arc file. Replacing all of the models with Odyssey Mario freezes the game from having too high of a file size thanks to the combined polygon counts.

Theoretically the game should be able to run smoothly since only 1 form is used at one time, but the most I could replace was 2 so this isn't a proper mod. That said, I'm still releasing this so people can use it as a comparison for their mods as it is helpful information to know you can have a ton of polygons for the Player Models.
Remember: It's all relative. Lower poly models allows more models to be replaced as well as larger textures. At the same time, smaller textures allows higher poly models. This is basically the extreme end of how high poly can Mario's model be without freezing or crashing the game.
