Whether it’s layer misalignment, inconsistent extrusion, or bed adhesion problems, these issues can lead to disappointing prints. Often, the culprit can be something as simple as a worn-out part. In today’s tutorial, we’ll focus on one of the most common issues: a faulty extruder gear that can cause inconsistent filament feeding. To begin, gather your tools and the replacement part. You’ll need a small screwdriver, a wrench, and the affordable extruder gear that we’ll be installing. You can find these gears at local hardware stores or online for a fraction of the cost of major repairs. Now, let’s get started with the step-by-step guide. First, ensure that your 3D printer is powered off and unplugged. Safety should always be your top priority! Next, remove the filament from the printer.
