I've had a few questions about what happened to the Whirlpools.
Since I left New Zealand, I really have missed my LG washer, (except for it being too sensitive to balance for spin!). But when we had the opportunity to buy a brand new set a year ago here in Canada, we chose the top of the line Whirlpool as they seemed to be well reviewed and the previous Whirlpool's were pretty good machines.
Then a short while ago, I saw an LG washer (the one we now have) on sale at The Home Depot for a really good price, so we decided to get a second washer basically just to play with.
Well, we were shocked at how amazing it is. It is SO much quieter than the Whirlpool, and much better wash & rinse action. It distributes so much better, and has a huge tolerance for wobbly distributes.
We quickly realized that we preferred the LG and would not be using the Whirlpools anymore, so ordered the matching LG dryer and sold the Whirlpools.
We are not saying the Whirlpools are bad products, but more that LG has really impressed us, and their products better meet our needs and preferences.
I will do videos of every cycle as they are used, it just might take some time. I hope you enjoy them!
