There's been a serious trend over the last few years to go into existing franchises and replace characters of certain categories with characters of others, and it's had a bad effect on the profits of those franchises. What subconscious things have caused people to make these changes to the franchises, and why has that caused these franchises to "go broke?" We'll delve into that in this video, and why in the past these types of characters have done fine, but these latest films and shows are not faring as well.
