There's a new genre of hip-hop that's emerged in the last few years, and traditional rappers like Eminem and Snoop Dogg have gone nuts feuding with it. It features oddly dressed people repeating specific phrases over and over with no lyrical content and often boring musical beats, but it's become incredibly popular. How could a genre that's based on performance, wordplay, and musical talent get overrun by the equivalent of a zombie apocalypse? Well, it has to do with the mental triggers that actual good music hits in our mind, and how those can be hit in other ways. Which is today's topic.
