Please take this seriously. Because of the way biblical narratives have functioned in Western cultures, they have been teaching billions of people to put men first; to only care about men's perspectives; to treat women as property; to think of women first, foremost, and sometimes only as baby-maker-house-keepers; to ignore the realities of people who do. not have power. I could go on and on, just based on these first few chapters of #Genesis .
