The DJI Osmo Nano is finally here, and it's a game-changer! DJI has followed Insta360's lead and created a super small, compact action camera. I took the Insta360 GO Ultra out for a run today and have some strong opinions on how the new DJI Osmo Nano stacks up.
In this video, I'll break down what I think DJI got right—and what they missed—with their latest release. While I don't have the Osmo Nano in hand, these are my honest opinions based on the tests and reviews I've seen so far.
DJI Osmo Nano Pros:
1. Small and compact design
2. Robust build quality
3. 10-bit normal and D-Log color profiles
4. Compatible with external DJI Mics
5. Up to 4K/60fps video recording normal video
The most surprising thing about the Osmo Nano? It's almost identical to the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro. I'm not sure why DJI didn't create a bigger distinction between the two cameras, but overall, I'm incredibly positive about the Osmo Nano. I've always loved small action cameras because they're easy to mount, lightweight, and produce great image quality.
