Lenovo ThinkPad T490s is a slim and lightweight business laptop from 2019 designed for portability without abandoning the classic ThinkPad identity. Although it features icon ThinkPad features like a solid chassis, the familiar ThinkPad TrackPoint, the camera shutter there are many flaws. This model is turning point in the T series history, but is it for good? No doublt that T490s is still a good machine 14-inch display aimed at professionals who work on the move. But is better than T480s? Powered by Intel Core i5 or i7 8th generation processors and paired with fast SSD storage, the T490s targets users who want a premium, quiet, and efficient work machine. In this review, I took a closer look at where the T490s succeeds and most importantly where Lenovo's design choices fall short.
