Lenovo ThinkPad T490 has RAM soldered to the systemboard and a dual-channel capable DDR4 SO-DIMM slot. This laptop has 8GB of RAMsoldered and I added a Kingstone module with 8GB more upgrading it to a total of 16GB RAM.
