In 2004, researchers found that practicing psychologists rated the same psychologically aggressive behaviors as more abusive and more severe when committed by a husband than by a wife.

More than 20 years later, where’s the follow-up?

In this video, I look at that research, a recent article examining possible bias against men in couples therapy, and why men shouldn’t avoid therapy, but should choose their therapist carefully and make sure they’re actually being heard.
