LEAVING THE UK - it did NOT go to PLAN! (Van Life at 70 - how hard can it be?)

After returning home recently from our van life adventure in the mountains, we had picked up a micro camper conversion, a nissan NV200, for Lous 69 year old mum, to have a go at van life!
If you have been following along you would have seen us upgrade the electrical system and add a diesel heater so that this little tiny camper van is fully off grid. Well, all of that was so that we could travel and wild camp our way around France.
This weeks episode sees us leaving the UK and getting on the euro tunnel to drive our vans into Europe! Now, we have been living and travelling in our van for 3 years, so we've experienced a lot of van life problems, and it turns out that is exactly the start for Joanie, as her first day of van life presents some vehicle damage, followed by her third night on the road with some slightly rude neighbours whilst stealth camping by a lake.
