M 2.5 earthquake struck 6 km NW of Massac, Kentucky (near Paducah) on August 20, 2026 at 04:35 UTC (11:35 p.m. CDT Aug 19). Depth 13.9 km.
The small quake hit during a night of severe thunderstorms that brought tornado warnings, heavy rain, flash flooding, trees down, and power outages across western Kentucky, including McCracken and Graves counties.
