Delegates from universities across western Canada descended on Banff, Alberta, Canada ins September 2017 to explore opportunities for collaboration, address challenges, and identify actionable steps for using large-scale data analysis and technology to improve human health.
It is the first of several initiatives being launched by the medical schools from the University of British Columbia, University of Alberta, University of Calgary, University of Saskatchewan, and the University of Manitoba.
The overarching theme of the conference was 'The Future of Precision Health and Big Data.'
