8 CFA Brigades in West Gippsland joined Forest Fire Management Victoria recently for a training exercise in preparation for the predicted challenging fire season.

The incident scenario were two emerging fires on the urban fringe. This gave the teams a chance to develop firefighting and leadership skills for a real event.
