The European Space Agency has recently launched a groundbreaking mission to search for signs of alien life on Jupiter's moons. The Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer, or Juice, was launched to make detailed observations of Jupiter and its three largest moons: Ganymede, Callisto, and Europa. These moons are believed to have vast oceans beneath their icy crusts, making them potential habitats for extraterrestrial life. Upon arrival in 2031, JUICE will spend several months orbiting Jupiter before conducting flybys of the three moons and then embarking on an orbital tour of Ganymede. This will make it the first spacecraft to orbit a moon in the outer solar system. The mission's ultimate objective is to characterize the moons as potential habitats in the past or present, offering new insights into the possibility of extraterrestrial life in our solar system.
