Today I call up some stupid scammers pretending to be from the National Grid utility company. I called them until they stopped answering and eventually their phone line went down. Enjoy!

The scam: Scammers pretending to be with a power company will call and say your account is past due and you need to pay them on the spot over the phone to avoid an immediate disconnection. It's a convincing scam as they usually use spoofed numbers and the actual recordings from the legitimate power company. Do not fall for this scam, and hang up if someone is harassing you into paying a bill on the spot.
