I'm so happy I can finally show you all this video. I've been working on it for the last few weeks and it's been such a pleasure. It felt as if it was making itself and I was just sitting there watching it all unfold. Even tho it's so simple when it comes to the style I really love it.
The song fits them so well. "Wherever you stray I follow I'm begging for you to take my hand wreck my plans that's my man" that's literally wenzhou! I didn't even like this song that much but when I started editing it it somehow became one of my fav Taylor Swift songs 🤭
I finished watching word of honor 6 days ago and wenzhou are still the only thing I can think about. They are one of my all time favorite couples. Just look at them. All the handholding? The hugs? Calling eo soulmate every chance they get? They're beautiful...

This hurt this hurt this hurts
At first I didnt know what song to use for them because theyre such a fascinating ship with an unmatched vibe. I really wanted to use this one because of the walking on the water lyrics but I wasnt sure if the melody was right. Fortunately in the end the inspiration hit, I finished this edit quickly and Im very happy with the result. I might end up vidding them in the future again tho because theyre so interesting and I feel I havent explored all that here.
If youre curious about them, please watch Lost You Forever. I cant stress enough how good this drama is. The fact that I have another video about it coming soon is a solid proof.

When I saw you loving The Legend of ShenLi a few months ago, I decided Id edit the main ship for you one day. Thats why I waited with watching the drama till November and then spent a few weeks watching and working on this video at the same time. Im glad I managed to finish it in time for your birthday.
I have to say I really enjoyed both watching the drama (Shenli is the most badass chinese female character ever, period) and vidding these two cuties in love. For some reason, before starting it, I had thought Xingzhi would be a weak man and Shenli would have to protect him all the time, so I was really surprised when I found out that they were both the most powerful creatures in all three realms and that they were going to serve the forbidden love trope 🤭
Stella, I already know you wont be disappointed with the ship choice, but I really hope I did them justice and that youll enjoy the edit! I also wish you the best day ever, happy birthday hun!!
