Do don't really like this piece; sorry Bach but this just does not sound a good as the compositions surrounding it. For me the use of long low notes does not really work for the decay characteristics of a plucked instrument. To try and get some life into it I have added an extra 'string' to the lower notes which is 1 octave below the main string and used a volume curve to increase the amount those lower notes speak.
I think it sort of works and at least it was an useful experiment.
