Weiser lock opened for a how to pick locks demonstration. You may want to learn lockpicking as a new skill just in case you have lost keys or are interested in locksport.
In this video we take a look at a Weiser 5 pin mortise cylinder. Weiser is an American lock company founded in 1990 and headquartered in Arvada, Colorado. The keyway on this lock is very spacious, making it a great lock for beginners to start with as they learn to manipulate pins with their lockpicks and other locksmith tools. The bitting for this particular lock is nice / fun due to the high and low cuts being adjacent to each other.
If you are interested in learning how to pick locks, make sure to check out my playlist covering the basics of how to pick a lock, as well as other useful skills and info here:

If you are looking for other pickers to talk to or a community full of friendly people that will be happy to help you with any lock you are struggling with check out the LPU sub Reddit and discord here:

And always remember: You matter, You’re important, and I’m glad you’re here.
IMPORTANT: do not pick a lock that you do not own or have the expressed permission of the owner to pick! Do not pick a lock that you use and rely on to function as it is intended. Check the legality of lock picking and locksport in your area and or region before starting your journey.
