sorry i havent posted in awile. you can probably figure out why lol. first of all this is a legit glitch and not a hack involving cheat code software or any other hacking. so anyways i went to pay tom nook the fee for a new addition to my sisters house (she wanted help) and he wanted 0 bells in pocket change XD. i tried to figure out what i did to cause that but i have no clue how it happened at all... i redid every thing i did before the glitch 3 times and couldn't get it to happen again. i think it was one of these one time glitches.
possibly way of going this? a person in the comments figured this out.
What you have to do is, go to Nook, tell him you want to expand. Time travel one day backwards, go to the ABD, there'll be the "Repay Loan" option, you pay that off. Then time travel back to the next day, go to Nook, he'll say what he said to you in the video.
So unfortunatly you dont get a free upgrade... oh well just do the duplication glitch gets lots of money or get your self a powersaves for 20 doller and hack for infinite money
