ACDC is a $13 million research, development and extension initiative funded by CRDC and in partnership with UniSQ and Qld DPI, designed to reduce the impact of diseases on the cotton industry.
This webinar showcased projects addressing key areas of research including:
• Systems-based disease control
• Understanding pathogen behaviour
• Spatial data analytics and modelling
• Fungicides and plant defence mediators
Importantly for growers and agronomists, the webinar addressed major diseases of concern such Verticillium wilt, Black root rot, and Fusarium wilt, and how they are being investigated through current projects and trials this coming season (2025/26).
