A lot of people can’t get the chance to step inside a working nuclear research reactor… so here’s what we saw. 👀
From the control room and reactor hall to the heavily shielded hot cells where radioactive materials are handled remotely, this was easily one of the highlights of our EuroTour 2026!
Would you visit one? Because you CAN actually visit here every last Friday of the month, provided you email the facility in advance, bring valid ID, and ask what you are allowed to film and not.
This facility is called the “Budapest Research Reactor”!
