After MONTHS of delays, wrong parts, missing parts, and absolute chaos… we finally got the transmission installed in the abandoned 1964 VW Westfalia bus project.
This should’ve been the victory episode.
Instead… it immediately started leaking.
What was supposed to be a simple install turned into another cursed chapter in the VW Bus rebuild series after we accidentally threw away critical parts, waited forever on replacements, and then discovered the shop had sent us the wrong components. Somehow, against all odds, the transmission finally made it into the bus… only to dump fluid everywhere.
At this point we’re convinced this bus is haunted.
Follow along as we keep fighting to save this abandoned VW camper and somehow keep our sanity in the process.
