I hear this all the time. "My job is to just love." That's wrong. It's not biblical. The problem is not the love. The problem is the "just," because that makes love an end in itself. Love does not save. Sure, people will say, God is love. Yes, but love is not God. Our job is to love unto Christ. That makes love a means to an end.
