SPHEREx, the Spectro-Photometer for the History of the Universe, Epoch of Reionization, and Ices Explorer, is a new telescope that is mapping the universe. It's mission is to map the entire sky several times while it orbits the Earth out in space. It is an infrared telescope, and the maps its producing are amazing. We just got the first complete maps from SPHEREx, and they are INCREDIBLE.
