At 2017m, Mt. Kumotori is the highest point in Tokyo. The scenery is amazing with 360 degree views of the other mountains and if you're lucky, views of Mt. Fuji (we weren't lucky this time!). The hike takes a total of 10-11 hours, starting from Kamosawa trailhead in Okutama. We were also super happy to see monkey's, deer, serow and a grumpy cat lodge owner!
