As spring turns into summer, Japan's countryside comes to life with the calling of frogs in the rice paddies and vibrant green adorning the mountains. Before it gets too hot, we went on a weekend adventure into the countryside, enjoying local food, beautiful scenery and trying our hand at some traditional craft.
