Yeah with selective breeding, we have taken animals' bodies to the extreme, where they end up with conditions and issues baked into them. But the problem isn't just taking their bodies to the extreme, it's interfering with their breeding to use them in the first place. They're not props, they just want to live their lives, and while we continue to collectively believe that they're objects, these animals will suffer the consequences.
