 One of the scariest moments I’ve had at Ryder’s Ranch…
I noticed something was seriously wrong with Rocket’s finger and knew we couldn’t wait. We rushed him straight to the emergency vet — and unfortunately, the damage was worse than we thought. The finger couldn’t be saved and had to be amputated.
Thankfully we caught it in time. The vet did an incredible job and Rocket is already on the road to a full recovery. ❤️
This is one of the hardest parts about owning exotic animals… accidents happen fast, and when they do, you have to act immediately. I’m beyond grateful we were able to get him help before things got worse.
Rocket means everything to us and to all of you who have watched him grow up here at Ryder’s Ranch. He’s tough, he’s healing, and he’ll be back to causing chaos in no time. 🦝💪
