The Izu Peninsula, 2 hours south of Tokyo, is a popular spot for beaches, hot springs and nature. With our friend @AmericanAdventuresInJapan we decided to explore all of that and more as we ventured off the beaten path in search of an old lighthouse. Things didn't exactly go to plan but nevertheless, Izu served up a beautiful weekend adventure!
