We Found The Secret Garden At The Grand Hotel But Didn't Find It At Its Best!

We went to Mackinac Island, with a lot of things planned to do and see. At the top of the list was the Grand Hotel, the main attraction on the island. This historical property is amazing, holding the distinction of having the world's longest continuous porch. It's surrounded by beautiful landscaping, topiaries, and flowering bushes and trees. And it also has a Secret Garden, full of color, with its own view of the Grand. There are no signs pointing to its location, and no marked paths, but if you look hard enough, you'll find it. We went in search of the Secret Garden, and (with a little help from Google) we found it! Our only regret was that we found it in the middle of a makeover to prepare it for the island's Lilac Festival. If we'd only gone one day later we could've seen it in all it's glory, but we were still glad that we found the Garden's hiding place! Thanks for watching!
